Angelica Hale is a Filipino-American vocalist. She competed in the twelfth season of America'southward Got Talent, and became the runner-up to winner Darci Lynne.[one] [2]

Early life [edit]

Angelica Hale was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 31, 2007, to American begetter Colin Hale, and Filipina mother Eva Bolando.[3] [4]

At the historic period of four, Unhurt contracted a severe bacterial pneumonia, causing septic shock and multiple organ failure, including her kidneys, and suffered permanent scarring on her right lung. Soon afterwards, Hale began taking singing lessons with song omnibus Tara Simon in Alpharetta, Georgia. She then won a singing competition for five- to nine-year-olds, and has performed for many charitable functions, such as Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.[6]

America's Got Talent [edit]

In 2017, Hale competed on flavour 12 of America's Got Talent, where she made it past the auditions circular with her rendition of "Rise Up" by Andra Day.[7] In the Judge Cuts round, Hale was given a golden buzzer by guest judge Chris Hardwick, later roofing Alicia Keys' "Girl on Fire", and advanced immediately.[8] During the live shows, she sang "Clarity" by Zedd and Foxes at the Quarterfinals and "Without You lot" by David Guetta for her Semifinals performance.[nine] Hale advanced to the Top x finals where she performed "Symphony" by Make clean Bandit and Zara Larsson.
